Camiral, a Quinta do Lago Resort – Tour Course

Layout:

The Tour Course presents as slightly less of a challenge than the Stadium course, however it is equally enjoyable. Dominated by pine trees and lakes, the Tour Course is shorter and a little less dramatic than its sister course. The distinctive Ángel Gallardo and Neil Coles design ensures that it remains a satisfying feat for every level of player.

Hazards:

The Tour Course features slightly wider fairways than the Stadium Course, but with a number of strategically placed bunkers, the course will be sure to keep even the lowest of handicappers in check. Though luckily for some, the fairways are typically forgiving of any wayward shots. Golfers must be mindful that they are never playing too far from a water hazard and with dense forestry and fauna surrounding them, no shot is ever safe!

Signature Holes:

5th Hole: 466m | Par-5

This hole  is among some of the most challenging across the golf course. For the experienced golfer, this hole can be finished in just two shots providing they can overcome the cross bunkers placed strategically down a hill. However, even when players make it past the bunkers, the challenge is not quite done; the green on the 5th is one of the steepest on the golf course.

18th Hole: 475m | Par-5

Widely considered to be the best hole of the Tour Course, this is one that players are sure to remember long after their round finishes and is the perfect ending to a fantastic round. Here, players must overcome an undulating fairway where there are ripples between sand areas leading up to the green. For low handicappers that keep their wits about them, this hole is achievable in two strokes, however most players are inevitably caught out by the two large bunkers on the fairway.
