Constructed in 1906, the golf course is set in high altitude, in a majestic setting amongst the peaks in Switzerland and promises a round like no other. The world greatest players have challenged Crans Sur Sierre during the Omega Masters, whilst the course is always maintained to the highest standards between the golfing months of May to September. Situated near the Swiss mountains, the course hibernates in the winter months, whilst the greens flourish in the summer. The Crans Sur Sierre Golf Club comprises of the world famous 18-hole course, and also a tricky 9-hole layout, designed by Jack Nicklaus. The second course, the Jack Nicklaus, is renowned as the most beautiful 9-hole course in Switzerland and is certainly worth a challenge before trying your luck at the full 18. The magnificent views over the Valais Alps are a joy to behold as you walk through your round. Short in stature, the course offers narrow meandering fairways and strategically placed hazards, where accuracy and consistent will be rewarded.
