The course consists of two loops of nine, & is fairly open from the tee so you can really power the driver, however it also features numerous well placed bunkers which hug the well maintained greens, which keeps you on your toes for the perfect approach to the green. The heavy undulations here mean accuracy and course management are imperative to a good score. Not to mention its sheer length! However there are plenty of tee positions ensuring the course is playable for all levels of golfer.
The signature hole here is the tricky 450 yard Par 4, 17th hole. Here you have to avoid the strategically placed creek which is situated right in front of the green. Make sure you conserve your energy as the back nine of the East Course is one of the most challenging stretches of finishing holes in the South.
