The course lies within the spacious 220-acre estate that once was home to the McQuillan clan including the breathtaking castle that overlooks the 10th green which was commissioned in 1618. Although at Galgorm Championship Course you won’t have the prevailing winds disrupting your shots, this modern, tough and exciting parkland course can still offer a very stern test of golf that is not to be underestimated. There is plenty of water on the course to avoid as the fairways are bordered by Main River and Braid River on two sides and even if you manage to keep your ball on course and avoid these rivers, there are other water hazards along the way.
This course boasts a stunning location with its fairways winding throughout the beautiful, old estate and it poses a great golfing challenge – a course that should not be missed out on whilst you are golfing in Northern Ireland.
