The varying landscape on each hole includes exotic trees and shrubs and provides a beautiful panoramic view of the Arabian Gulf. The desert flora increases the difficulty of the course whilst providing aesthetic satisfaction. It is quite common to see various wildlife roaming the fairways with guinea fowl and peacocks a regular sight on the perfectly manicured fairways. Despite the course only being created in 1998, it hosted the official opening of the Dubai Desert Classic in 2008. International golfing legends such as Tiger Woods and Ernie Els have also played this course. Therefore despite the course being relatively young, its early success is undeniable.
The course itself is arranged on different elevations and features a large salt water lake that you'll find comes into play on five of the holes. This popular course is certainly well worth a visit on your next golf holiday to Dubai.
