The course was established by James Braid in 1905 and since then it has become a well-loved and popular course for golfers of all abilities. If both sets of nine holes played like the front nine then you would have a very enjoyable and decent round of golf, but the front nine holes combined with the breathtaking scenery and unique layout of the second set of nine holes, you have a very special and memorable course indeed. From the front nine holes, you can enjoy breathtaking views of the Cardigan Bay coastline and the Snowdonia mountain range and from the back nine holes, you have equally impressive landscape to enjoy.
