The Old Course at Portstewart Golf Club is home to the original 9 holes formed here in the early 1900s and by 1934 the course had been extended to the full 18 we see here today. Portstewart Golf Club is one of the few golf clubs in the UK that is home to three golf courses, a prestigious golf club founded over 100 years ago offering a comprehensive links golfing experience.

The Old Course is set along the rugged rocky coastline before climbing inland offering breath-taking views of the coastline. Located just east of Portstewart town and heading towards Portrush, the course is primely positioned on some incredible links terrain which is home to a cluster of world class courses of the Dunluce course at Portrush, Castlerock and the Strand at Portstewart.
This historic course isn’t the longest course in modern standards, however the historic style of course and ancient fairways are great to roam and soak in the rich history of Portstewart. The Old Course at Portstewart is where it all began and offers a great round to warm up before challenging the big hitters in Northern Ireland.
