The Dukes Course

Originally designed by Peter Thomson and opened in 1995, the course has been held in high regard and continues to improve with heavy investment in 2006 to ensure the drainage coped with the Scottish weather, making the course playable and thoroughly enjoyable all year round.

The design philosophy for The Dukes was to grow out to the land, rather than being imposed upon, meaning the course has matured into the fantastic layout it is today. The Par 72 course is a tricky challenge for all handicaps and boasts a variety of holes, with a mix of rough heathland or tree lined fairways, some with well-placed bunkers, making a wayward shot punishable.

The spectacular location, in the surrounds of Craigtoun Park, overlooks both St Andrews and Fifes rugged coastline giving you a wonderful backdrop on every turn.

This superb 18 hole course is set up as two loops of nine, with five separate tee positions making it flexible in distance, appealing to all standards of golfer and a different challenge for your second round. The Dukes Clubhouse offers a bar and restaurant with a terrace which opens out to the course. The seasonal menu changes regularly utilising the fresh local ingredients of this beautiful part of Scotland.
