The course was designed by Harry Colt who made the holes roll over parkland beautifully and although the course may be called short in this era, it is a challenging course nonetheless.
One of the best things about the course is how it is always kept beautifully with lush fairways and fair but fast greens. The course is a stern test of golf with many long par 3s, challenging opening and closing par 4s and 5s and some very testing bunkering as well as some fierce elevation changes along the course. Whilst you are navigating your way around the course, you can enjoy fantastic views across the Loch as well as the feeling of seclusion as you make your way through heavily wooded lands.
This is a great round of golf on a beautiful course and one that is ideal for your next golf break to Northern Ireland as it is a fair but challenging course with an excellent clubhouse for your post-round refreshments!
