Castlerock Golf Club – The Mussenden Course

There is no denying that the Mussenden course is a very challenging course which can be made even more challenging when the wind is blowing which it so often is in Northern Ireland and so if you can play close to your handicap here then you have played a brilliant round.

The greens are consistently quick on this course, no matter what time of year it is that you have chosen to visit which means that your short game must be of a high standard in order to not mess up your hole at the last hurdle! There are certainly no easy holes at Castlerock Golf Club and so you must maintain your concentration throughout as the course arguably gets harder after a more sedate start.

There is an interesting selection of different holes and you will almost certainly have a very enjoyable round here – even if your scorecard is not as you would like it to be! This is a solid and varied test of links golf which is well worth a visit when you are on your next golf holiday in Northern Ireland.
