Citrus Golf Club – La Foret

Layout:

This is the flagship course here at Citrus Golf. The course has undulating fairways and some incredible views out over the surrounding countryside. This is a par 72 measuring over 6600 yards from the back tees and is a great test of golf with some awesome holes that will ask you some questions. There are two holes that we consider to be the signature holes.

Signature Holes:

The first is the 8th, a short par 4, which if you are feeling brave, could be reached from the tee box. The green is about 270 yards downhill from the back tee box with a large body of water running down the right of the hole and a narrow landing strip on the left which means going big here is appealing but you risk a watery grave.

The second signature hole has to be the 18th; this long par 4 is a great finishing hole with two water features – one in front of the tee box and one to the left side of the green. For the second shot here you get an inviting look down the green but there is no shame if you bail out in the green side bunker on the right.

Clubhouse Features:

After your round, the veranda in front of the clubhouse is a very pleasant place to sit and reflect on the day with your drink of choice, and we can confirm that the local lager Celtiar is very tasty and refreshing. With the shuttle to the hotel departing every 30 minutes there is no need to worry about timings either just sit back and relax.
