There are 10 outdoor pools, an indoor pool and aquapark, a private beach, an impressive spa and plenty of activities, alongside a particularly good choice of restaurants and bars.

It’s also a good option for mixed groups and families. Carpi Kidz Paradise offers supervised activities for children aged 3–10, while the Youngster Club is designed for ages 10–15, with games, sports and group activities.

Accommodation

There’s an extensive choice of rooms and suites, with views across the gardens, mountains, river or sea.

Rooms are spacious and contemporary, with pool-access options available if you like the idea of stepping straight from your terrace into the water.

There’s plenty of choice for families and groups too, including family rooms and duplex suites, while the Lake House collection includes swim-up rooms and suites.

Larger suites offer extra living space and, depending on the category, features such as private terrace pools and saunas.

Restaurants & Bars

The choice of food and drink is one of the resort’s strengths. Sarigerme Main Restaurant serves Turkish and international buffets with live cooking stations and offers indoor and outdoor seating, as well as separate family and adults-only sections.

There’s also an impressive selection of à la carte restaurants. Alize specialises in Italian food, A la Turca serves traditional Turkish cuisine beside the Dalaman River, Finesse offers Indian dishes and Tao Far East & Teppanyakiserves sushi, Teppanyaki and other Asian specialities.

For seafood and Mediterranean flavours, Vela Riverside has a lovely setting between the river and sea. Reservations are required for the à la carte restaurants and a cover charge applies.

For something more casual, Vento Snack & Bar and Breeze Snack Restaurant & Bar are handy for lunch, while the Beach Snack Corner serves treats including gözleme, waffles and ice cream.

There’s plenty of choice for drinks too. Pianoforte Bar is open 24 hours, while the Beach Bar, Bay View Terrace Bar, Citrus Coffee & Bar and F Lounge give you different options throughout the day and evening.

For adults, the 16+ Rouge Roof Bar is a great spot for cocktails with views across the gardens towards the sea.

Pools, Spa & Leisure

With 10 outdoor pools spread across the resort, there’s plenty of space to swim, relax or find somewhere to settle for the afternoon. There’s also an indoor pool and an aquapark with twisting waterslides, making this a particularly good option if you’re travelling with children.

Away from the pools, you’ll find tennis courts, beach volleyball, archery, yoga and Zumba, as well as diving and windsurfing. The fitness centre is open 24 hours and has Technogym equipment.

The Elysion Spa is ideal after a round of golf. Facilities include Turkish baths, four saunas, a steam room, relaxation pool and 18 treatment rooms, while the hotel’s private beach offers another option for quieter days away from the course.

Golf

The big attraction for golfers is the brand new Dalaman Golf Club.

Designed by Andrew Craven of International Design Group, the 18-hole, par-72 championship course measures 6,750 yards, weaving through dunes, pine forest and wetlands, with the mountains providing a striking backdrop.

The routing makes the most of the natural surroundings, incorporating sand dunes, pine forests, marshland and lakes, with two loops of nine returning to an elevated clubhouse.

The par-5 15th promises to be one of the standout holes, dropping 25 metres from tee to fairway and running alongside a lake and protected nature reserve.

Practice facilities include a driving range and putting and chipping greens, while golf carts, trolleys and rental clubs are available.

There’s also a Golf Academy, locker rooms, showers, bag storage and club cleaning facilities. A complimentary shuttle runs between Hilton Dalaman and the golf club.

When to Go

Spring and autumn are particularly good times for a golf holiday in Dalaman, with plenty of sunshine and more comfortable temperatures for spending several hours on the course.

April to June and September to October are good choices if golf is the main focus of your holiday.

July and August are hotter, but work well if you’re combining golf with a family summer holiday and plenty of time around the pools and beach.

Getting There

Hilton Dalaman Sarigerme Resort & Golf is particularly convenient for a golf holiday, with Dalaman International Airport around 20 minutes from the resort.

Direct seasonal flights operate to Dalaman from a number of UK airports, so you can be at the hotel relatively soon after landing.

Nature lovers should make time for İztuzu Beach, a beautiful protected stretch of coastline famous as a nesting ground for loggerhead turtles. You can also explore the area by boat, stopping at pine-fringed bays and quieter coves along Turkey’s southwest coast.

For something closer to home, head into Sarigerme for a wander around the village, or simply make the most of the surrounding coastline before returning to the Hilton for dinner and drinks.
