The 8 Best Luxury Golf Resorts
This week’s blog is a guide to some of our luxury golf holidays that you can choose from if luxury is the main thing that you are looking for from an excellent golf escape. With many of our destinations having almost year-round great golfing weather it is never too late to plan your next golfing getaway to somewhere hot and sunny with some fantastic golf to play!
Sueno Golf and Sueno Deluxe
Up first we have the two brilliant Sueno hotels: Sueno Golf and Sueno Deluxe, which are both luxurious all-inclusive five-star resorts situated in Belek, Turkey.
Sueno Golf offers everything that you could want from a golf break in more tranquil surroundings with a fantastic buffet restaurant where you can experience panoramic views of the golf course as well as a lovely bar area too. The private beach area is stunning, with a pier out to sea and a great beach bar where you can get light lunches and snacks. With all of this and two great 18-hole golf courses onsite it is no wonder that this hotel made our list of luxury golf.
There are no surprises either with Sueno Deluxe, which only opened in May 2015 and is also situated just a stone’s throw away from the beach with easy access to both Sueno golf courses (Dunes & Pines). Onsite you have so many fantastic facilities, including several great restaurants and bars, a nightclub and a fabulous spa centre.
Infinitum Golf
If you’re looking for luxury golf courses, then look no further than the three beautiful Infinitum courses in Costa Dorada, Spain. Each of the courses offers you a different style of round and staying nearby means that you will have three to choose from and there is no better place to stay than H10 Imperial Terraco which is an elegant five-star hotel situated just a moments’ walk from the beach.
Infinitum Hills is a beautiful 18-hole championship course with fairways lined with pine and olive trees and some truly spectacular holes. There are some great short par-3s as well as some longer holes on the scorecard, and the 18th will stay in your mind for a long time after the round has finished with its heavy element of risk and reward, as well as too many hazards to navigate yourself around for it to be an easy finishing hole!
Infinitum Lakes is the second 18-hole championship golf course here and is as equally integrated into its surroundings as the Hills course. With no less than 13 of the 18 holes featuring water hazards, there is very little room for error if you don’t want to lose a few balls along this course. Although there is less undulation across this course compared to the Hills course, there are plenty of strategically placed hazards to challenge golfers of all abilities.
The Ruins course at Infinitum Golf Club is a stunning and fairly flat 9-hole course. Although it is shorter than its sister courses, it is still maintained beautifully and provides a unique and short round of golf!
Palacio Estoril Hotel Golf & Spa
Palacio Estoril Hotel Golf & Spa is a five-star hotel situated in the centre of the Estoril Resort in Lisbon, just a few minutes walk from the beach. The hotel’s rooms are spacious and decorated with warm colours, fitted with all of the amenities that you would expect from a hotel of this standard.
The location of this hotel is close to so many restaurants and bars whilst being located in such beautiful surroundings with a fantastic golf course onsite. Whilst you are here you will never be short of somewhere great to eat or drink, as there are four different restaurants and the resort of Estoril on your doorstep so you can always venture out of the hotel to find some delicious food and drink in the area.
The spa features a sauna and a Turkish bath and you can also purchase a treatment from the vast range that is offered here. With all of these fantastic facilities, as well as the fact that many of our packages here come with unlimited golf at the prestigious Golf do Estoril, this is definitely one for you to consider.
Westin Resort in Costa Navarino
The Westin Resort in Costa Navarino is a beautiful five-star resort situated within a lovely area of Greece. Within close proximity of the hotel, you can find not only two excellent golf courses, but also many different leisure activities and facilities for you to enjoy during your time here.
The hotel is set just five minutes’ walk from The Dunes Beach and boasts stunning views from the hotel of the Ionian Sea. Within the hotel, there are 445 rooms and suites which are all fully fitted with all of the modern amenities and facilities that you would expect from a hotel of this standard, including jetted tubs in the bathrooms and stunning views from each of the private balconies.
During the day, spend time relaxing on one of the local beaches, around one of the pools or even in the Anazoe Spa which boasts extensive facilities. Paphos is well-known for its golden beaches and great harbour which boasts an array of great restaurants and bars, just ten minutes’ walk from the hotel’s entrance!

Another luxurious hotel is the new Golf du Medoc, which is situated within 200 acres of beautiful French countryside just outside of the city of Bordeaux and boasts two brilliant 18-hole golf courses on the site of the hotel. The two courses, Les Chateau and Les Vignes, are both pristine and have both hosted several international tournaments as well as being consistently ranked as two of the top 100 courses in Europe.

The Fancourt Hotel
Fancourt Hotel is situated in Cape Province, nestled between mountains and forests in the heart of the Garden Route. Not only does the hotel boast luxurious accommodation and extensive facilities, but there are three Gary Player designed golf courses situated on-site of the hotel.

Last, but certainly not least, is the Evolutee Royal Obidos Hotel & Spa situated in Obidos, Lisbon. The Royal Obidos course is the shining star about staying at this lovely five-star property.
