Whilst not being the longest of courses in the modern day, the main challenge at Brora is the consistent breeze, hidden pot bunkers and fast and undulating greens. The front nine runs along the beauty of the Moray Firth, before turning back for the back 9 with a variety of unique and spectacular holes.
The clubhouse provides a panoramic view of the golf course and the surrounding links terrain, offering a great place to enjoy a highly recommended club sandwich after a challenging round.
Brora emphasises the true gem of a traditional highland links design with a gentle opening, leading on to a testing back nine. The shorts holes all face different directions, causing the prevailing wind to affect your game from all angles, which is more hazardous due to the courses unsheltered position.
Look out for the 17th hole and the elevated tee which leads towards the Tarbatness lighthouse, a stunning view and one hole that will live long in the memory.
