The stunning location along the North Wales coastline, has created an impressive setting for an excellent round of challenging links golf. Conwy Golf Club is one of the more prestigious clubs in Wales, with the original layout having been formed in 1869 and two world wars changing the landscape over the years.

The course features an undulating terrain, pot bunkers and spacious greens, whilst the well maintained fairways and burrows give it great character and a round worth remembering. The position along the Caervonshire coastline provides a consistent breeze which can cause havoc to your score and rounds of the classic links experience to a tee.

Ranked as one of the best golf courses in Wales, this historic golf club comes with a high reputation, having won Welsh Golf Club of the Year in 2007 as well as hosting the Ryder Cup Wales Seniors Open in 2008.

It was a great weekend, thank you very much for your help. The team at golf escapes have been excellent and made the organisation of the weekend really easy. We did participate in the BBQ, it was nice that filled the hole after a very windy 18 holes though. The courses were lovely, well-kept with really nice club houses. The golf pros knew who we were and were really helpful. The hotel was in a great location, easy to get to both courses and the town centre. Breakfast was buffet with plenty of choice. The rooms were comfortable and big enough for two people sharing.

Golf Escapes were all amazing…

Golf Escapes were all amazing at arranging a wonderful weekend for my husband and his fellow friends to celebrate the upcoming wedding of our best friend, the team were super-efficient with phone calls & paperwork for the weekend, the St Pierre hotel was exactly what the group were looking for, despite the awful weather, a great time was had by all, and we’d definitely use golf escapes again, as the value for money & service was second to none.
