Anfi Tauro

Anfi Tauro Golf provides an idyllic visual backdrop to a privileged coastal setting, where you can enjoy an impeccably maintained course which hosted a Spanish PGA Championship. Set in acres of lush green gardens with rich vegetation, lakes and waterfalls and enclosed by impressive volcano shaped mountains - the remarkable location is what makes the Anfi Tauro golf courses unique.

At this golf break...

The Arizona style course has been designed by renowned golf course designers von Hagge, Smelek and Baril, who are acclaimed for their challenging and innovative courses. The numerous tees on the course will speed up play and offers players of all levels a challenging and entertaining test of golf.

Over 3 million cubic metres of earth were moved to construct the perfectly maintained fairways of this course. This 18-hole course is parkland themed, and carries multiple characteristics of an Amazon desert course with its barren rock formations and spacious sandy waste areas.

With the coastal breeze from the Atlantic coming into play, players are encouraged to bring their A-game when playing this course. However with five tees coming into play, even amateur players have the opportunity to play here.

Signature holes of this course include the par-3 6th hole and par-6 13th hole. The 6th hole attempts to lure players into a false sense of security with its large green, however you must not be fooled; the prevailing wind from the Atlantic may successfully hinder your scorecard if extreme precaution is not taken.

Players find the challenge intensified as they approach the 13th hole which is carved into the base of the mountain. Therefore the stone wall lining the left of the hole may act as a barrier to a player’s success; it is imperative they keep their ball to the right when playing this hole.
