Although the course is not excessively long at 6,275 yards, the greens are always in great condition and run fast. The Glen is a course that you can enjoy all year round regardless of the weather, although you can expect some wind due to its positioning! This is a beautiful golf course which boasts an interesting layout, breathtaking views and a course that will suit golfers of all handicaps making it a perfect addition to your golf break to Scotland.
This impressive clifftop links course with its panoramic views boasts a great round of golf for golfers of all abilities but also offers great service and facilities at the golf club. You can enjoy relaxing in the clubhouse after your round and whilst you reminisce about your round, you can enjoy a few drinks and a great meal.
Arguably, the best stretch of holes on the course begins with the 12th hole where you must hit an accurate tee shot to reach a small green at the far end of the course. The 13th hole is the signature hole of this course and it isn’t hard to see why. The hole is called the Sea Hole where you play from an elevated green and you can enjoy breathtaking views of the Bass Rock whilst navigating your ball to the flag around this quirky hole.
Another particularly stunning course is the great 18th from which you can see North Berwick’s golf course in the distance. This is a very photogenic and interesting round with some excellent holes that you will remember for a long time after your leave the club which makes it a must-play course for your next golf escape to Scotland.
