This par-69 course has become a golfing legend for its views of unrivalled beauty and its challenging greens. Its prestige and reputation is known worldwide, and this has been shown when the Golf de Biarritz Le Phare has been asked to host international competitions on multiple occasions since its creation. Measuring a modest 5,400 metres with a moderately flat terrain, this course has done well for itself to establish such a reputation and is undeniably worthy of its fame. The views on offer here are a deal breaker if you are unsure; you will not find views like these anywhere else.

The flat terrain of this course must not be overlooked; with an impressive 70 bunkers strategically placed across its fast greens, you must be sure to play your A-game. However a benefit of the landscape of this course is that it is easily walkable. Featuring a tree-lined open parkland layout, you will find that all aspect of your game will be challenged here. Yet the layout is somewhat varied, with some holes exuding a classic parkland feel, whilst other holes offering coastal views do not maintain this. This course demands that each player pushes their skillset and handicap to its limit; the Golf de Biarritz le Phare makes an interesting round of golf.
