Isla Canela Links is a relatively flat golf course, meaning it is easily walkable and a golf buggy is not always an essential. The front and back nine are distinctively different so that golfers here can enjoy a fantastically varied round of golf. The front nine makes the most of the golf course’s position alongside the Guadiana River, offering spectacular sweeping views across the landscape.

Even though the Isla Canela Links is a parkland golf course, the front nine holes boast a distinctive links feel to them. In contrast, the back nine are more set back from the river so they are more sheltered from the coastal winds, however a new challenge is created with several well-placed water hazards. This stunning golf course has been intricately carved into its original landscape to retain its natural features. The link-style holes weave in between valleys, woodlands and marshes filled with the landscape’s natural fauna and flora.
