Mijas Los Olivos Golf Course
Mijas Los Olivos is part of the two golf courses that make up Mijas Golf Club. The Golf Club is located in the valley of Mijas, north of Fuengirola & only twenty minutes from Málaga international airport.
The Course was designed by Robert Trent Senior & opened its doors to golfers back in 1984. Not only does Mijas have 2 x 18 Hole Courses, but they also offer extensive practice facilities such as a Driving Range, Putting & Chipping practice area's for those who wish to warm up prior to tackling the Golf Course.
If you travel to this golf course, you'll find...
The main feature which distinguishes this course is the abundance of trees & its short length compared with the Mijas - Los Lagos Course. The greens are small & undulating, plus they are also well protected by the strategically placed bunkers, so accuracy is the order of the day.
And in overall terms the due to the shorter nature of the Los Olivos Course, it favours the precision golfer rather than the big hitters.
