A classic Dave Thomas golf design, players are guaranteed to have an excellent round of golf here. This fantastic golf course is located just a mile from the nearby beach resort of Los Alcazares and five minutes away from Murcia Airport meaning it is perfectly situated for all golfers in the area.

This par 72, 18-hole parkland golf course is an essential feature of any golf holiday in Murcia. The Dave Thomas design team made a conscious effort to adopt most of the landscape’s natural features in their creation of this fantastic golf course. The greens here are characterised by the undulating terrain as well as several strategically placed bunkers. Many of the holes here are to be played around three huge lakes. The Roda Golf Course is undeniably a challenging golf course, and when the sea breeze comes into play it is only intensified. However, as the golf course is relatively flat, it is walkable and golf buggies are not always necessary. Even though the golf course is flat, by no means is it boring!
Despite an exciting array of challenges and hazards along the way, Dave Thomas ensured that the Roda Golf Course could be played and appreciated by golfers of all skill and ability; there is no heavy rough and there are just a few trees to create an excellent holiday golf course. However, the golf course does demand accuracy when it comes to putting due to the slippery putting areas. The greens measure out to just under 11,000 square metres, purposely designed to meet USGA standards so that the Roda Golf Course can host tournaments in the future.
