This spectacular golf course is renowned as one of the best-designed links layouts and features 174 bunkers which are strategically placed throughout its fantastic 18 holes. The course, which is fairly flat in nature, is defined by its tricky rough, pot bunkers and sandhills that can cause havoc to all levels of golfer.
History:
Founded in 1886 and located just North of Southport on England’s Golf Coast, the course is consistently ranked in the top 20 courses in the UK and top 60 worldwide. Lytham, along with Royal Birkdale and Royal Liverpool Golf Club make up a sublime Royal trio in the North West.
Royal Lytham & St Annes Golf Club has been host to 11 Open Championships, two Ryder Cups and various major tournaments over the years, all adding to its prestigious history and its popularity among the golfing elite.
