Salgados Golf Course

It is set back from the sandy beach of Praia de Galé with the local bird sanctuary located next to the golf course. Salgados is one of 3 Nau Hotel courses in the Algarve, perfectly situated a short walk from both the Salgados Palm Village Hotel and at the Salgados Palace Hotel. The course is a short drive from Albufeira which also has a number of hotels available for the next golf trip to the Algarve.

For you warm up to your round at Salgados you will have access to a chipping green, practice bunker and a putting green. Avoiding the water is the name of the game at Salgados with seventeen of the eighteen holes having a water hazard present. Not only is it is finding the fairway key to your success but you will also need to do your best to miss the many bunkers that protect the greens.

The 2nd hole at Salgados is a long tricky dog leg right Par 5 with out of bounds along the right-hand side and two separate water hazards along the left-had side of the hole a par here is a great score.
Hopefully you reach the stunning short par 3 12th hole relatively unscathed as it is now time for a precise tee shot over the lake to avoid reaching for another ball and taking a penalty stroke.
