Vale do Lobo is a stunning course surrounded by pine, eucalyptus, olive and orange trees. However, this does provide its own set of challenges with fairways that are particularly narrow in places. Scoring well on the front nine is important if you want to end on a good overall score, as it starts to get a little trickier after the turn.
Vale do Lobo Royal Golf Course:
This course is nestled between villas and trees, with the opening 9 in particular settling nicely into the surroundings. There is a great stretch of holes at 7, 8 and 9, but it is on the back 9 where this course really ignites. There is the beautiful and long, par-5 11th, with water stretching up the left side of the fairway all the way to the front of the green, offering some challenging protection.
