El Valle Golf Course

It is located in a valley of natural desert, the fairways curve around the mountain range to create a harmonious vision of the indigenous landscape and give the course it’s unique personality.

El Valle is a medium-length, par-71 golf course and has a distance of 6990 yards from the back tees. The course is set within a landscape containing over 5 hectares of elaborately sculpted bunkers which help to separate the holes, create strategic interest, and create a very dramatic setting. Three large lakes come into play on six holes, and the golf course is complemented with lush surrounding landscaping, further enhancing both the golf experience as well as the extended views from the surrounding development.

The golf course is designed to group several golf holes together which means that the properties and development do not spoil the golfing experience, by overlooking the greens, thus retaining the open and natural feel that one would expect to experience. Rather than length, the course relies on subtle strategic elements to challenge golfers. This course puts a premium on accuracy, not power, and favours the intelligent player who can manage their game.

The course features a number of ‘crowned' greens surrounded by large mown chipping areas, presenting players with interesting and imaginative short-game options around the greens. There are clusters of smaller, more subtly shaped bunkers and El Valle Golf takes full advantage of its desert setting with many holes set adjacent to naturally existing rock-outcroppings and ridges. Water
features, including two lakes and two elaborate stream and waterfall systems complete the look of this beautiful desert garden.

The Resort boasts an exclusive Club House with fantastic views of the golf course. It has a driving range and putting greens and it features bars, pubs, restaurants, a golf pro-shop and large lounge areas for visitors to relax in.

El Valle Golf Resort has been created to offer a superior style and quality of life to those who live there and is a fabulous course for all serious golfers to play. The undulations make the course interesting but it is still possible to walk around the course whilst narrow fairways and lots of bunkers require the player to have precision, control and patience to have a successful and enjoyable round of golf here!
