Gloria – New Golf Course

The Gloria New Course winds its way through a stunning pine forest with strategically placed bunkers catching all but the purest of golf shots. The challenge here is typically created by water hazards and undulating fairways, lined with trees and greenery. As a result, golfers are encouraged to bring their ‘A-game’ if they are in with a shot of scoring well. Whilst the Gloria New Course is generally not as well-known as its partner golf course, the Gloria Old Course, it is still widely considered to be among the best golf courses in the region. Furthermore, guests staying at either the Gloria Serenity, Gloria Verde or the Gloria Golf Resort will receive discounted green fees and a free shuttle service from the hotel to the golf course.

Off the back tees, the course stretches to over seven-thousand yards, and with lightening quick Bermuda greens, golfers will be kept on their toes throughout. Whilst the golf course undeniably poses as a challenge to even the more experienced golfers, it was actually designed to welcome a range of handicaps. The holes range from par threes, par fours, and par fives, and with a variety of tee-off options, even amateur golfers can enjoy a fantastic round of golf here. In comparison to the other golf courses in Belek, the Gloria New Course is somewhat tame, but that is not to say it is boring! With its strategic placement of elevated tees, water hazards and tricky doglegs, players will always be faced with a challenge.

There are several memorable holes at the Gloria New Course, however the winner is undoubtedly the 17th hole. This is a fantastic par-3, and it is almost definitely the most challenging across the golf course. The green is situated on an island surrounded by water; therefore, this hole demands that golfers play with both precision and length, especially when the wind comes into play.
