Just returned from two really enjoyable weeks in Islantilla. Though the hotel has been taken over by Hilton, the staff are all retained and nothing is too much trouble. The golf courses were challenging in their own way but in good condition and we would be happy to play both North and South again. Usual excellent service from Golf Escapes in arranging our trip to Belek. Golf courses at Sueno and Cullinan were excellent. We have been to Belek for over 10 years at the the end of May / early June but the weather this year was exceptionally hot touching 40c! However we don't hold GE responsible for this!!

Not only is the Messinia widely considered to be one of the best luxury golf resorts in Greece due to its excellent facilities and ideal location. It is also home to two truly spectacular golf courses, the Bay Course and the Dunes Course.

The Bay Course was designed by the world-renowned golf architect Robert Trent Jones Jnr who created an imaginative layout to test all standards of golfers with the emphasis placed on positional golf and strategic play. Its sister golf course, the Dunes Course, measures slightly longer at 6,018 meters from the back tees.

This fantastic golf course was designed by the former Championship golfer, Ryder Cup Captain and US Masters Champion Bernhard Langer who created the first 18-hole signature designed golf course in Greece which is widely regarded as one of the finest in Europe.
