Hardelot – Les Dunes Course

Hazards:

Your short game is vital as course improvements have remodelled Les Dunes to now feature six par 3 holes; birdies can soon turn to bogies with well-placed bunkers, and there are now subtle green undulations to be wary of when making your approach. With multiple doglegs resulting in several blind drives, this course certainly does not pose as an inferior challenge to its sister course, Les Pins. Several bunkers also line the greens therefore golfers are often advised to play with caution as not to hinder their scorecard. The sloped terrain and the dense placement of trees on this course will definitely test all aspects of your game.

Signature Holes:

The opening par-4 hole adequately prepares its players for the challenge ahead as its landscape includes dramatic elevation changes, and deep bunkers. Golfers must choose their club carefully, as driving accuracy is imperative to score well on this hole. Another signature hole of this magnificent course includes the par-3 7th hole. It features a sloping green, and it is recommended the player uses a 7 iron to successfully overcome the undulating bunkers for the first shot. If you successfully hit the green, then there is a decent chance for a birdie!

Clubhouse & Area:

Arrival at the clubhouse is warm and welcoming, allowing you to relax and unwind with a drink at the Sports Bar, and meal at Le Restaurant des Dunes after your round. This course is situated in an ideal location, just 5 minutes away from Hardelot town centre and 30 minutes south of Calais. Furthermore, it is less than 2 kilometres away from its sister course, the Les Pins course.
