The aim of the staff at Thorpeness Golf Club and Hotel is to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible and they do this job well. The hotel is a dog-friendly establishment and allows some well-behaved dogs on the course.

The hotel offers a wide range of different rooms which you can choose from to make your golf break here tailored to your wants and needs. No matter which room style you choose, they are all spacious and fitted with a TV and a spacious ensuite bathroom. There is also tea, coffee and biscuits left for you in the rooms. The classic double and twin rooms have French windows which open up onto a communal balcony from which you can enjoy beautiful views over the gardens or the Meare.

If you sometimes prefer not to walk into town to explore the local eateries there then you can enjoy a great meal within the hotel. At Braid's Bar, you can enjoy traditional bar meals including burgers, sandwiches and more substantial meals as well as bar snacks all day in the relaxed bar area. Alternatively, you can visit Ogilvie's which is the "Tea View" restaurant here which serves a menu of Grill House classic using Suffolk ingredients.
