Golf at Victoria & Alfred

Being based in Cape Town will mean you have access to a number of great courses such as Royal Cape, and Steenberg. This is a great place to start or end your trip and we recommend including this hotel as part of the Garden Route itinerary on route to or from Fancourt.

Royal Cape has evolved over 100 years into what it is today. This classic parkland course provides a great test of golf along with a delightful playing experience. This fairly flat par 72 course measures 6,131 yards off the back tees. Royal Cape is tree lined with narrow fairways and is well-maintained year-round.

Steenberg is located in the Eastern Cape, only 30 minutes from Cape Town, at the back of Table Mountain in the Constantia. The par 72 parkland course measures 6,320 yards off the back tees. Steenberg is another design from the acclaimed Peter Matkovich and was opened in 1996.
