An impressive 6 out of 8 of the holes here were designed to incorporate water features with local vegetation lining the fairways to create an invigorating challenge. The landscape of this course is typically characterised by undulating land with fairways lined with Mediterranean flora and greenery. These greens can often be difficult to judge, especially on the 5th, 8th and 16th holes where golfers must conquer a two-tiered green. However, the most elevated greens will soon be welcomed by players once they get a taste of the stunning views on offer here; in the distance, you can see the nearby tower of Nora on the ancient coastal ruins of a Roman city.
The most challenging hole on the Is Molas Golf Club is arguably the 5th hole; on this course players are swiftly thrown in the deep end. This hole features a tight left dog leg, where golfers are encouraged to send their drive to the right in order to avoid the out of bounds area on the left and tree in the centre of the fairway. The approach shot also needs to land on the elevated green, where they will soon be met with further stunning views.
With outstanding views on offer throughout combined with an unforgettable challenge, the Is Molas Golf Club is a great option and a charming place to enjoy a few rounds in the Italian Sun.
