The La Finca golf course is set in a stunning location with a distinctive backdrop of the Callosa del Segura Mountains on show throughout. The La Finca is considered to be relatively young compared to the other golf courses in the area, however it is widely regarded as a truly fantastic golf course, among some of the best in the Costa Blanca. For an unforgettable round of golf across a beautiful landscape, the La Finca is an unbeatable choice for golfers in the Costa Blanca.
The La Finca is one of the most popular golf courses in the Costa Blanca. A superbly sculptured championship course with stunning views of the lakes, trees and wildlife, this comes as no surprise! This 18 hole golf course was created by the renowned Spanish golfing architect, Pepe Gancedo and was opened in 2002. Gancedo has recently been labelled as the ‘’Picasso of golf’’, and at the La Finca, you can certainly see why. His fantastic design has created a spectacular golf course with a landscape characterised by wide fairways and contoured greens.
With water featuring throughout as a dominant theme, the La Finca golf course is a real test for golfers, regardless of their handicap and skillset. Golfers should bring patience, skill, and most importantly spare golf balls on a round at the La Finca. Due to its steeped landscape and several water hazards, a golf buggy is recommended.

A signature hole at the La Finca includes the fifth hole with a unique island green that takes no prisoners with any wayward irons. This 535-metre-long hole plays to a handicap of five. This is a lengthy hole to say the least, however golfers will find themselves rewarded with stunning panoramic views of the neighbouring Sierra de Callosa mountains. Golfers here must not be led into a false sense of security with a wide fairway as it is lined with dense greenery and shrubbery to capture any wayward shots. The key in approaching this hole is to play it safe and aim for the centre of the green to finish with two careful putts.
The architect of this fantastic golf course, Pepe Gancedo, has intricately blended the landscape’s natural beauty into the spectacular golf course that stands today. Water sources across the golf course have been weaved into the holes with natural fauna and greenery present throughout. Despite the golf course measuring to nearly 6,500 yards in length, golfers will never find the La Finca repetitive due to its unique design and new hazards around every corner.
