Golf in nature at Leopard Creek Country Club
If you enjoy your golf with a few hazards then this course will take you to new dimension. Leopard Creek is something very special, where the the water hazards not only provide difficulty to your game but are home to the magnificent creatures for which the Crocodile River is named, if you loose your ball then you can trust us when we say it has gone.
As you would hope, this course makes extensive use of the water features so you can expect regular sightings of crocodile, hippo, antelope, buffalo and elephant. As the course on the Kruger Park borders, views of nature can be on the course or directly into the national park.
The 13th hole which is a 505 metre par-five is one of Leopard Creek’s most memorable holes, again for more than just the golf. Here the green hangs directly on the edge of the river, raised almost 100 feet above the water level the superb views into the Kruger will stop you in your tracks.
We are told that Gary Player is also especially proud of the par-five 18th, here you will find a challenging island green, a very worthy mention also goes to the par-four 9th where the peninsula green juts out into the water to maximise the experience. This course is truly magnificent.
