    Full details

Mottram Hall course is set within magnificent undulating park and woodland, with tree-lined fairways, strategically placed bunkers and a lovely atmosphere combining to give all golfers an enjoyable and memorable round of golf here. Before you take on the challenge of the course, you can warm-up on the driving range which can help at this course as being able to hit far, accurately and straight is important if you are hoping to score well on this course.
The course is always very well maintained and all of the staff and the facilities within the golf club are excellent and make every party of golfers feel welcome. After a round of golf, make sure to relax in the clubhouse and enjoy a bite to eat as well as a few beverages whilst you discuss the highs and lows of your round.
The signature holes of the course are both long par-4s which boast plenty of hazards for you to contend with and overcome. The 13th hole is a very long hole which requires very accurate and very long shots in order for you to score par or under-par. The fairway of the 13th is ever-rising and any little errors can greatly dampen your chances of scoring well.
The 17th hole is the other signature hole and is arguably one of the best and most picturesque dog-legged holes in the region where you must hit a long and accurate drive from the elevated tee in order to approach the trick, two-tiered green. With the necessity of a long drive as well as water to the right of the green, very thick rough on the left and a stream cutting through the fairway, this is a very difficult hole but can be very rewarding if played accurately.
This is an excellent golf course which is a great addition to any golf escape to the area and also makes the perfect course for a great stay and play golf break to Mottram Hall Hotel.
