Old Thorns Hotel & Resort boasts a superb location, situated within a stunning 400-acre estate in the Hampshire countryside. This 4* hotel has been built around an idyllic, 17th-century building that offers everything you could need or want for a lovely golf break. Between the excellent hotel rooms and the self-catering apartments, there is sure to be something for everyone at Old Thorns. Twin and double rooms contain an en-suite bathroom, flat-screen TV, tea and coffee facilities, iron, ironing board, hairdryer, and complimentary toiletries.
Old Thorns is located in the countryside village of Liphook, in East Hampshire. Located approximately an hour drive from Gatwick and Heathrow airport, the easiest mode of transport for access to the site is taxi service or car hire. This quaint location is perfect for a truly peaceful golf break. There aren’t many noises on this site that will disturb your trip. Both golfers and non-golfers can enjoy all aspects of this resort.
There are several brilliant accommodation options at within the Old Thorns Estate including hotel rooms, the new self-catering apartments and eco-pods. There are over 150 spacious guest rooms within the hotel and each is beautifully decorated and boasts all of the facilities and amenities that you would expect from a hotel of this standard including wireless internet.
The self-catering apartments feature 14 penthouse suites which can sleep up to six people and then there are 37 two-bedroom apartments. Each of the apartments boasts stunning views of the golf course and the South Downs from the floor-to-ceiling windows. Each of the apartments boasts a fully-fitted kitchen as well as lounge area and other important amenities.
Not only is there fantastic accommodation, brilliant facilities and a lovely location for you to enjoy during your stay here but there are also several fantastic bars and restaurants which means there is a dining option to suit everyone. within the Sports Bar, you can enjoy a relaxed bar menu and within the Kings Restaurant, you can try the famous carvery. Alternatively, visit Oties Café for coffees, pancakes, waffles, ice cream and more.
