Premier Course at Macdonald Portal Hotel

The Portal Golf and Country Club has a glowing reputation for exceptional service and high standards, whilst boasting two exceptional courses in the Premier Course and Championship Course, designed by Donald Steel.

The Premier course consists of a constant scenic backdrop overlooking the Cheshire plains, with several key holes, including the spectacular 7th hole, a par 3 made out of a sandstone quarry. The Premier Course is a beautiful par 75 parkland course which will challenge all standards of golfer. Although not as famous as its bigger sister, the course offers an enjoyable round of golf and completes the world class championship venue at Portal Golf and Country Club.
