Quinta de Cima
A longer course than its sisterly neighbour Quinta da Ria, Quinta da Cima has been tipped as a Portuguese Open venue.
Designed by famous American architect Rocky Roquemore, the course is a wonderful test of golf in a beautiful countryside setting amongst almond and carob trees. Fairway bunkers make you think off the tee and the greens are big but well-protected. Not much in the way of dog-legs or short tight par-4s, but a more scenic or lush course will be hard to find. This is a fantastic 36-hole complex.
