The Queens Course
The sister course to the more prestigious PGA Centenary and King’s Courses, Gleneagles Queens course is the shortest of the three spectacular courses on offer at Gleneagles but by no means inferior and is often many golfers favourite of the trio.
Designed by James Braid and opened in 1917, the Queens course measures less than 6000 yards but has a devilishly tricky par of 68 which presents an immensely enjoyable challenge. Set in arguably the prettiest landscaped of the Gleneagles courses, the sun glistens through holes set in woodland and deer are not unknown to inhabit the fairways presenting an enchanting experience. The greens putt beautifully here so be bold and find the hole.
