About the Professional

Denise Hastings, Tarleton Golf

Denise is recognised as one of the UK’s top rated golf coaches, which has been acknowledged by being awarded an Honorary Membership of the PGA.
In June 2025 Denise achieved PGA Master Coach status. Denise is incredibly excited and honoured to be recognised as a Master Coach by the PGA. Denise is the 66th person to achieve this distinction, and only the 4th woman in history. This places Denise in an exclusive group with less than 1% of the 8000 strong PGA membership receiving this prestigious title. Naturally Denise is very proud and is looking forward to the future as a Master of the game we love!

Drawing on her 30 years of experience in golf coaching plus her constant commitment to updating her teaching skills and improving her knowledge Denise is much respected within her profession and much loved by her pupils. A founder member of the Women’s PGA in 1978, the experience she gained from playing the European Tour for ten years is invaluable in her approach to the game. Currently Denise is a regular coach in the PGA swing zones at many big events such as the Open Championship, Ladies and Senior Championships.
