At this golf holiday in the UK...
The course was designed by C K Cotton and spans over 200 acres of undulating terrain, creating the perfect foundations for a testing round of golf. West Lancashire features two loops of nine, with the 9th and 18th holes viewable from the clubhouse.
A long course in its entirety, with 11 holes stretching over 400 yards, making a long and accurate drive an essential ingredient in keeping a good score. The other challenge worthy to note is the elevated putting greens, meaning a perfect pitch is vital at the end of the majority of holes.
The splendid clubhouse here offers superb views of the course and the surrounding hills, with the balcony a great place for a well earnt beverage after your latest round.
