This course is ideal for those seeking a leisurely round on a meticulously well kept and thoughtfully designed course, offering panoramic views of the coastline and mountains throughout.
A notable feature on this course is the extended dogleg throughout the front nine which commences at the 2nd hole, and runs right through until the par 3 5th hole, which features a small lake lining the front left of the green making it one of the most intimidating holes on the course.

Excellent holiday course, with golfers of all abilities able to enjoy the challenge provided on the two returning loops of nine holes. Golf las Americas bears a challenge consisting of well-placed hazards of both water and sand variety, large undulating greens and gently sloping fairways.
Measuring a modest length of 6,607 yards with a basic composition of two par 3s, two par 5s and five par 4s on each nine, this course opens its arms to all players, regardless of their handicap. Furthermore, with Tenerife boasting an average yearly temperature of 23 degrees celsius, golfers will find themselves able to play this fantastic course throughout the year.
Whilst this course is relatively straight-forward, there are several features included to characterise its greens. For example, across the course the landscape gently slopes towards the coast offering varied play with alternating elevation, especially in the back nine. Whilst water hazards are pleasantly scattered throughout the course and present on 8 holes, they do not create an overwhelming challenge.
However the water hazards do demand accurate ball placement on the fairways, and players will soon find themselves punished for any wayward shots. A charming environment is created with a series of streams, lakes and waterfalls. Despite its coastal location, you will rarely find your play affected by wind on this course due to the gentle slops of the hills which shields the course from winds.
Another intimidating hole on the Golf las Americas includes the par-3, 153 yard long 13th hole with three sides of its putting green surrounded by water.
Golf las Americas boasts an excellent clubhouse overlooking the 18th fairway, and its fantastic practice facilities completes this very pleasant golfing experience to create a memorable round of golf.
