Golf de Chantilly Les Longeres

Golf de Chantilly – Les Longères is an 18-hole woodland and parkland course set within the historic Golf de Chantilly estate in Vineuil-Saint-Firmin, around 45 to 50 kilometres north of Paris.

The club has two 18-hole courses, Vineuil and Les Longères, giving golfers a superb 36-hole venue close to Chantilly and within easy reach of the capital.

Although Vineuil is the more famous course, Les Longères offers a serious challenge in its own right. The layout brings together five holes from the original course with 13 newer holes designed by Donald Steel, creating a course that keeps much of the traditional Chantilly feel while offering its own more forest-based identity.

The course is known for its narrow fairways, tree-lined holes and well-placed bunkers, so straight driving and thoughtful approach play are essential.

Golfers need to be confident with their angles into the greens, as the sloping putting surfaces and protective bunkering can quickly punish a loose shot or lapse in concentration.

The par 3s are among the highlights, while the course as a whole provides an engaging test from the opening tee. Despite its strategic demands, Les Longères remains very enjoyable for visiting golfers, with a peaceful setting, excellent greens and a walkable layout.
