Barnham Broom – Valley Course – is situated in the Barnham Broom Golf and Country Club, just outside Norwich in the northern part of the very countrified East Anglia. Barnham Broom Golf and Country Club is host to 2 champonship courses, the Valley and and the Hill, of which the Valley is consistantly ranked as one of the top golf courses in the county. The quality of the course is reflected by the fact that it ha hosted PGA Satellite Tour Events as well as frequently holidng the Norfolk open.

Layout:
An 18 hole Par 72, that from the back tee’s stretches to 6,555 yards. The course is tree-lined and has often been compared e to the Vilamoura old course, who’m which the course shares the same course designer, Frank Pennink. The course is fairly challenging, relfected in the high slope rating of 134, and is a test for any golfer. The Valley course is most famously known for its outstanding maintenance year round, which is some compliment for the rainy winter, East Anglia is known for.
Hazards:
The course also contains several water hazards and vastly undulating greens. These hazards thus lean itself towards conservative, precision golf, with straight iron-shots consistantly rewarded.
