What about night golf in Turkey?
What actually is “Night Golf”?
Well, it really is what it says. Night golf refers to playing on a floodlit course, at times where the sun might not be out, so early morning or late evening.
Why might you play Night Golf in Turkey?
There are a number of benefits to playing golf at night in Turkey but just a few are…
★ Enjoy milder temperatures
★ Play more rounds in a single day
★ Enjoy a unique experience
Where can you play night golf in Turkey?
There are a number of golf courses in Turkey that offer illuminated holes, so you can play well into the evening without fear of the sun setting and losing visibility. Three of our favourite courses in Turkey for night golf include…
Carya Golf Club was Europe’s first ever fully floodlit course! Boasting the ability to illuminate all 18 holes, Carya ensures that your round won’t be cut short by an early sunset. Early birds can even enjoy playing before the sun rises and round it off with lunch in the clubhouse!
Tackle the back 9 under the floodlights and see if you can follow in Tyrell Hatton’s masterful footsteps. Having won the 2019 Turkish Airlines Open during a six man play-off, Tyrell managed to take home the trophy on this illuminated course – certainly one for the books!
This 36-hole golf course in Turkey features an illuminated loop of nine-holes, for those of you who are trying to squeeze in a quick round before the sun and it’s rays disappear – or for those of you who end up playing for longer than expected because of those pesky water hazards!
