Aroeira 1

The Aroeira No. 1 course is a well renowned golf course located in Herdade da Aroeira, a coastal area in the municipality of Almada, which is just south of Lisbon. It's conveniently located within easy reach of Lisbon's city center and the coastal towns along the Costa da Caparica.

Aroeira No. 1 is the original golf course at the PGA Aroeira Golf Resort. Designed by Frank Pennink and opened in 1973, it is one of the oldest and most prestigious golf courses in Portugal. The course is characterized & defined by its lush pine forest setting and gently undulating terrain.

The No. 1 is an 18-hole, par 72 championship course that offers a challenging and enjoyable golfing experience for players of all skill levels. The course features narrow fairways, strategically placed bunkers, and large, undulating greens.

In addition to the golf course, Aroeira Golf Resort offers a range of facilities for guests, including a clubhouse with dining options, a pro shop, extensive practice facilities, and locker rooms.
