The Praia d’el Rey Golf Course was designed by the acclaimed American golf course architect Cabell Robinson and the course opened in 1997. He used all of the natural landscape to create this beautiful 18 Hole, Par 73 Course, with large sand dunes, pine forests, and ocean views featuring throughout. The Course offers a diverse range of holes, including links-style holes along the coast, with some holes that wind through the pine forest, and others with strategic water hazards to navigate.
Praia d’el Rey is consistently ranked highly in Portugal & Europe’s Top 100 Courses, with it currently ranking in the Top 60 in Continental Europe & in the Top 10 Courses in Portugal which is no easy feat with the Algarve being on of the top golf destinations in the world.
