There are some incredible value golf passport packages available when you stay at Bom Sucesso which allow you to play the spectacular West Cliff Golf Links, Praia d’el Rey and Royal Obidos courses, all three under 15-minutes’ drive away. Transfers are free to these courses and also to Campo Real during certain months.
Also, just a 15-minute drive from the beautiful medieval town of Óbidos with lovely shops and restaurants, and an hour from Lisbon airport, the Óbidos Lagoon is one of the most beautiful spots in the western Portuguese Coast and perfect for watersports such as sailing, windsurfing and rowing. The area also has numerous excellent beaches perfect for relaxing and taking in the great weather. Just across the Lagoon at Foz Do Arhelo you can stroll along the promenade, sample the many cafe bars and swim. The lively beach resorts of Peniche and Nazare are also within easy reach.
The 18 hole onsite course occupies an area exceeding 60 hectares and also has a driving range and a golf academy. A very impressive golf course that has recently benefited from investment, Guardian Bom Sucesso is suitable for all standards of play and is easily walkable. There are some stunning holes and views, in particular the last three holes. The resort’s restaurant and bar offers international cuisine and Mediterranean dishes with a Portuguese touch. The breakfast buffet is served at the golf club house where the service is always friendly.
