Seignosse Golf Club

Golf de Seignosse brings a real sense of challenge to a French golf holiday in south-west France.

On the outskirts of the Basque region and only a few kilometres from the Bay of Biscay, players will find an invigorating test in a beautiful natural setting.

This is not a course that lets you switch off! The winding fairways are lined with cork and oak trees, making the approach into the greens more demanding, while well-placed hazards are ready to catch out anything too ambitious or slightly wayward.

This 18-hole course was designed to offer plenty of variety, with the front nine and back nine both looping back towards the clubhouse.

The 17th is another strong hole, with a left dogleg, a narrow fairway, overhanging trees to the right and water waiting on the left. It may be the only hole on the course without a bunker, but it is far from straightforward!

Seignosse is a course that rewards accuracy and patience. Doglegs, bunkers, water hazards and overhanging trees all add to the challenge, while the undulating setting and views of the surrounding countryside make it a memorable round from start to finish.
