Eléa has many distinctive features. This course puts the emphasis on tactical play rather than big-hitting, so golfers will find plenty of strategic riddles to explore and unravel over the course of the 18 holes.
Players at Elea Golf Club will find all aspects of their golfing skills tested on this tricky layout, including the many bunkers coming into play in typical Faldo fashion. Despite being considered to be an iconic parkland course in Cyprus, though, there certainly is a links feel to many of the holes with their generous fairways and Arizona-style areas of wasteland, but don't let that fool you into going for every hero shot...
The par 4, 17th hole is considered to be Elea’s signature hole, with dramatic bunkers featuring throughout. Providing you can swerve past the sand traps to stay securely on the fairway, the winning shot will require an ‘’all-carry’’ approach in order to reach over the native greenery to the island green, where golfers will be faced with a large undulating green.
After completing the final hole, golfers will be greeted by the Elea Clubhouse which sits on a hill overlooking the course and the sea offering spectacular sweeping views throughout.
