Melia never let you down when it comes to standards and this hotel is certainly no different. The Melia Salinas is a true 5 star in the perfect location. The hotel is right on the beach and many of the rooms look out to the marina of Costa Teguise and the ocean. This is definitely a hotel where paying the sea view upgrade is worth it!
The pool at the hotel is one you will remember for a long time after staying here. It merges the iconic volcanic rocks from the island with a Hawaiian theme of palm trees and tiki style parasols and pool bar. With it being an adult’s recommended hotel, the atmosphere is a relaxing vibe which filters through to all areas of the hotel.
The hotel is part of Lanzarote’s artistic and cultural heritage and designed by Fernando Higueras. The lobby and public areas of the hotel are very contemporary and filled with unique art, but still has the volcanic Hawaiian style through the whole of the hotel. The rooms are a good size and very modern in design. With the hotel also offering all board bases up to All Inclusive, it is a hotel that caters for any type of golfer.
Those that like to have bars and restaurants to walk out to, Costa Teguise is on your doorstep and for those that prefer to just stay in and enjoy the hotel comforts, all-inclusive here is fantastic. With two dining options of a buffet restaurant and an a la carte, the food here is of very high quality and the bars are fantastic.
Costa Teguise Golf is just 5 minutes away in a taxi and Lanzarote Golf 20 minutes away means you have two courses that are very accessible and easy to get to. This is one of our favourite hotels to base golfers when staying in Lanzarote and always gets fantastic feedback.
